Vicki Sutton, Co-Founder
A former CEO and experienced entrepreneur, Vicki has led at every level — from elite performance to grassroots growth. Known for her strategic mindset and impact-driven leadership, she’s now focused on building global opportunities for the next generation of captains.
Ria Burrage-Male, Co-Founder
Also a former CEO and ex-international athlete, Ria is now a leadership coach helping individuals and teams unlock their full potential. With a passion for athlete-led leadership and a sharp eye for system change, she brings deep expertise to the field and the boardroom.
Together, Vicki and Ria are serial entrepreneurs with over 25 years of experience as leaders, captains, and change makers. They know the weight and opportunity of leadership in sport and they’ve built Captains Clubhouse to back those who carry it.

Captains Clubhouse was built with one clear mission: to give Sports Captains the leadership space they've always needed, but never had.
As former CEOs, captains, and entrepreneurs, we saw the gap firsthand. Captains are expected to lead, inspire, and perform , often without the tools, training, or support to do it well. So we created something different. Something better.
As founders, we’re in the virtual Clubhouse every day, writing the content, filming with real Captains, and obsessing over every detail to make sure the experience is not just valuable, but transformational. We're constantly listening, learning, and improving, because we believe Captains deserve a platform that evolves with them.
